Genesis 6:5 – The LORD saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.
Psalms 14:1-3 – The fool [a] says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. Jeremiah 17:9 – The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?
John 15:5 -“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Romans 3:10-12 – As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.
Romans 3:23 – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 7:18 – I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[a] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
