Lesson- The Fathers Heart

LESSONS FROM RYLEE ON THE FATHER’S HEART

What I have learned about the Father God from parenting –

1) Early mornings wake-up: Psalms 119:147 – “I rise before dawn and cry for help”

2) Crying out for food: Psalms 119:20 – “My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times”

3) Eating frenzy Matthew 5:6 – “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled”

4) Fussy and burp and peace: Psalms 73:16-17 – “When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny”

5) Always looking up and fixed gaze: Colossians 3:2 –  “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things above” AND Hebrews 12:2 – “Focus your eyes upon Jesus

6) Diaper change: repentance Acts 3:19 – “Repent then and turn to God, that your sins might be wiped out; that times of refreshing may come from the Lord”

7) Arms and legs flailing: Pslams 119:32 – “I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding”

8) Breathing quick breaths: Psalms 119:131 – “I open my mouth and pant, longing for your commands”

9) Imitate speech: Luke 11:1 – “Each us to pray”

10) Lastly, when John leaned upon the breast of Jesus in upper room John 21:20 – when Rylee rests on my shoulder when holding her – INTIMACY – my favorite place – CALM, REST, PEACE, SECURITY
