Thank you for submitting to the Lord, so many years ago, and for allowing Him to touch your life and give you a vision that has affected me personally and so many of TEN’S of THOUSANDS of others around the world. Other than my wife and parents, you have impacted my life and its direction more than any one person on this earth. You, through the Lord, have given me a vision of what it means to be a man of God, a husband, a father and a coach that leads with his faith.
As a head coach I was given a vision of how to run a program that honors the living God. I never would have had this vision if I had chosen to play football somewhere else. I want to thank you for being my head coach as a player, as an assistant and for 19 years as a college head coach. I look forward to the day where I can sit down with you again, and gain more knowledge and insight from your mind and more importantly from your heart. Thanks for the time in your home, thanks for the “Frosty” plaques (Bible verses) you gave me and thanks for the time we went out to lunch. Those will be cherished for a lifetime.
Though not always easy I am doing my best to “make the BIG TIME where I am” and it has made all the difference.
Frosty, may you continue to have God’s face shine down upon you, as you live out your life for Him, in these tough times. And as Jim Gagliardi stated to me in an email, “I am sure he is at the hospital raising the spirits of everyone around him in “Frosty” fashion.” It could not be said any better than that…
In His victory,
