1) recognize sin
2) eradicate sin by confession/repentence (break ties with sin)
3) bless your enemies…..those who have injured you (drive influence away)

pray for those who persecute you (Matthew 5:44)
bless those who curse you (Luke 6:28)
bless those who persecute you. bless and do not curse (Romans 12:14)
